Bloomfield Financial Gives – Terms & Conditions
1. About the Campaign
Bloomfield Financial Gives is a charitable and community giving initiative run by Bloomfield Financial Limited.
Members of the public may nominate organisations, causes and community projects for consideration. Bloomfield Financial will review eligible nominations and select a shortlist of finalists. A public vote may then be held to determine how Bloomfield Financial's donation fund is allocated.
Participation is free and no purchase is necessary.
2. Who Can Be Nominated?
Eligible nominations may include:
- UK registered charities
- Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Schools, PTAs and school projects
- Grassroots sports clubs and youth organisations
- Community groups and voluntary organisations
- Charity-linked fundraising campaigns
- Other not-for-profit causes, projects or initiatives that Bloomfield Financial considers appropriate
Nominations should relate to organisations, projects or causes that make a positive contribution to individuals, families or communities.
Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to determine eligibility at its sole discretion.
3. Who Can Submit a Nomination?
Nominations may be submitted by individuals aged 18 or over.
By submitting a nomination, you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
4. Nomination Period
The opening and closing dates for nominations will be published by Bloomfield Financial.
Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to extend, shorten, suspend or amend the nomination period at any time where it considers this appropriate.
Any changes will be communicated through Bloomfield Financial's website, social media channels or other appropriate means.
5. Shortlisting
Bloomfield Financial will review every eligible nomination received.
Following review, Bloomfield Financial will select a shortlist of finalists entirely at its discretion.
When selecting finalists, Bloomfield Financial may consider factors including:
- The information provided in the nomination
- Demonstrable impact
- Community benefit
- Financial need
- The quality and detail of the nomination
- Alignment with the aims of the campaign
- Any other factors Bloomfield Financial considers relevant
The number of nominations received will not automatically determine which organisations are shortlisted.
Bloomfield Financial is under no obligation to explain why a nomination has or has not been shortlisted.
All shortlisting decisions are final.
Submission of a nomination does not guarantee that an organisation will be shortlisted, featured, receive a donation or otherwise participate in later stages of the campaign.
6. Verification
Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to contact nominated organisations, fundraisers or nominators to:
- Verify information submitted
- Confirm eligibility
- Obtain additional information
- Confirm that any donation can be accepted
Where adequate verification cannot be obtained, Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to remove a nomination from consideration.
7. Public Voting
Where a public vote is held, details of the voting period and process will be published separately.
Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to reject, remove or disregard votes that it believes are duplicate, fraudulent, automated, misleading, abusive or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of the campaign.
Bloomfield Financial's decision regarding the validity of votes is final.
8. Donations
The total donation fund, number of finalists and method of allocation may vary from campaign to campaign.
Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to amend donation amounts, the number of finalists, the voting process or the overall structure of the campaign where necessary.
Where a nominated organisation is unable or unwilling to accept a donation, Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to select an alternative recipient or reallocate the funds.
No cash alternative is available.
9. Publicity and Use of Information
Bloomfield Financial may use information provided in nominations for the purpose of administering, promoting and reporting on the campaign.
Where the nomination form includes a section inviting additional information for voters, Bloomfield Financial may publish information submitted within that section on voting pages, campaign materials, social media posts and related publicity.
Bloomfield Financial will not identify a nominator, publish a nominator's personal information or attribute comments to a nominator without their permission.
Where Bloomfield Financial wishes to use information beyond that specifically provided for publication, reasonable efforts will be made to obtain permission beforehand.
10. Data Protection
Personal information will be processed in accordance with Bloomfield Financial's Privacy Policy.
Where participants choose to receive marketing communications, they may unsubscribe at any time.
Submitting a nomination or vote does not automatically subscribe a participant to marketing communications.
11. Changes and Cancellation
Bloomfield Financial reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the campaign at any time where circumstances make this necessary.
12. General
Bloomfield Financial's decisions relating to eligibility, shortlisting, voting, donations and campaign administration are final.
By submitting a nomination or vote, participants are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.
