At Bloomfield Financial, we usually have a figure in mind each year that we’d like to donate to charities, community organisations and good causes.

This year, we’re a little behind where we’d normally expect to be with that giving, so rather than quietly choosing causes ourselves, we’ve decided to take a more proactive approach.

We’re asking you to help us decide.

How Bloomfield Financial Gives Works

The idea is simple:

  • You nominate.
  • We shortlist.
  • You vote.

We’re inviting people to nominate a charity, community group, school project, youth organisation, grassroots sports team, CIC, fundraiser or not-for-profit cause that matters to them.

Once nominations close, we’ll review every eligible nomination and select three finalists.

Those three finalists will then be put to a public vote.

Donation Amounts

All three finalists will receive a donation from Bloomfield Financial.

The public vote will decide how the donation pot is shared:

  • Winner: £300
  • Runner-up: £75
  • Runner-up: £75

So even if a finalist doesn’t receive the most votes, they will still receive support.

Who Can You Nominate?

We especially welcome nominations for smaller causes that may not always get the attention they deserve.

  • UK registered charities
  • Community Interest Companies
  • Schools, PTAs and school projects
  • Grassroots sports clubs
  • Youth organisations
  • Community groups
  • Voluntary organisations
  • Charity-linked fundraising campaigns
  • Other not-for-profit causes or projects

The cause does not have to be local to us. Bloomfield Financial works with clients across the UK, so nominations are welcome from across the country.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not simply looking for the biggest or best-known organisations.

We’re interested in the story behind the nomination.

Why does this cause matter to you?

Has it helped you, your family, your friends or your community?

Does it do important work that more people should know about?

Smaller causes often make a huge difference with very limited resources, so please don’t feel you need to nominate a large national charity.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations are open until:

Midnight on 30 June 2026

We may extend the nomination period if we feel it is appropriate, so please keep an eye on our social media channels for updates.

How Finalists Will Be Chosen

After nominations close, Bloomfield Financial will review the submissions and select three finalists at our discretion.

The number of nominations received will not automatically decide who becomes a finalist.

We’ll consider the information submitted, the impact of the cause, the story behind the nomination and how well it fits the purpose of Bloomfield Financial Gives.

Public Voting

Once the three finalists have been selected, we’ll announce them on our website and social media channels.

The public will then be invited to vote.

The finalist with the highest number of valid votes will receive £300, and the two runners-up will each receive £75.

Submit a Nomination

You can submit your nomination here:

It only takes a few minutes.

You don’t need to write anything polished. Just tell us who you’re nominating and why they matter.

Follow for Updates

We’ll share updates, finalist announcements and voting details through our social media channels, so please follow Bloomfield Financial to keep up to date.
